Our Apartments

Check-out time is 10 am daily. If you would like a later check-out, we can check with our availability and housekeeping schedules if it is possible. Please mention this to us when you check-in. Late check-out is midday.
Check in time is 2pm daily. Early check-in can be requested; however, we won’t be able to determine this until the day before arrival. Please phone us after 4pm the day prior to your arrival to confirm early check-in.

Unfortunately, all outdoor equipment including bikes are not permitted in our apartments. However, there is room in front of your car bay in the secured basement carpark to store your push bikes and sporting equipment. If you require a more secure option, please speak to management upon booking so we can confirm the availability of the secured bike lock up.

 

If you are competing in any of the local sporting events such as the Mooloolaba Triathlon or the Noosa Triathlon, we are more than happy to help out with your storage needs.
Yes, all bed linen and towels are supplied with beach towels available for a small hire cost.
Fully self-contained means all of our apartments have a full kitchen comprising stove top, oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, and all necessary crockery, cutlery and utensils are provided. Each holiday apartment has a washing machine and a dryer.   A starter pack of tea, coffee and milk is supplied for the first night, along with a starter pack of dishwashing liquid, laundry powder and dishwasher powder.
Yes, all of the apartments at Space Holiday Apartments have ducted air-conditioning throughout and contain in-room operating instructions.
Yes, all holiday apartments at Space Holiday Apartments are strictly non-smoking.
All of our apartments have balconies with outdoor furniture for you to make the most of the beautiful Sunshine Coast weather.

We have fully self-contained 1-, 2- & 3-bedroom apartments in the following configurations:

  • 1 Bedroom Ocean/River View (1 x king-size bed) or (1 x queen-size bed)
    2 Bedroom River View (1 x king-size bed, 2 x single beds)
  • 2 Bedroom Ocean View (1x king-size bed, 2 x single beds)
  • 2 Bedroom + Sofa Bed Option Garden View (1 x king-size bed, 1 x queen bed, 1 x set of single bunk beds and the option of a double sofa bed at an additional charge)
  • 3 Bedroom River View (1 x king-size bed, 1 x double bed, 3 x single beds)

All of our 2- and 3-bedroom holiday apartments have an ensuite and main bathroom. The ensuites have a walk-into shower, and the main bathrooms have a shower-over-bath. Our 1-bedroom apartments have a separate bathroom with shower-over-bath.

Yes, we have wide hallways, walk-through showers. If guests would like to spend a morning or afternoon on the balcony, we also have a light-weight aluminium balcony ramp to allow wheelchair access.

 

Disability aids can be hired directly through Maroochydore Home Health Care.  We are happy to arrange this on your behalf for a small fee, simply ask us today.
Most of our apartments have fantastic water views; levels 1, 2 & 3 have a view of the Maroochy River and levels 4, 5 & 6 overlook both the Maroochy River and out over the Pacific Ocean.
Most of the apartments at Space Holiday Apartments have water views. Our River View apartments look out on to the Maroochy River and are located on levels 1, 2 and 3. Our Ocean View Apartments look out onto both the Maroochy River and the Pacific Ocean and are located on levels 4, 5 and 6 of the building.
Yes, all of our apartments have complimentary Foxtel. Channels include Fox Sports (various channels), Nickelodeon and Nick Jr., Lifestyle, Fox8, SoHo, Arena, TVH!ts, E!, B&C First, Sky News Live, Sky News Business, Sky News Weather, CNN, National Geographic Channel, Discovery Channel, History Channel, Crime & Investigation, Romance Movies, Comedy Movies, Action Movies Maxx Music, Channel V and CMC.
Unfortunately, no (as much as we love them!). Due to building health and safety policies our holiday apartments cannot accommodate pets. There are many local pet resorts, kennel, catteries and private pet sitters who can be contacted to look after pets during your stay.

Our Location

  1. Brisbane and Brisbane Airport? 1-hour and 10-minute drive north of Brisbane.
  2. Sunshine Coast Airport? 15-minutes south by car
  3. Noosa? 25-minute drive north. This can be a very enjoyable day trip.
  4. Maroochydore? Space Holiday Apartments is located in Cotton Tree, which is part of Maroochydore, right in the CBD.
  5. Maroochy RSL? We are just a 4-minute walk to Maroochy RSL.
  6. Maroochy Surf Club? You can take an 11-minute walk to Maroochy Surf Club or book the courtesy bus.

Our Facilities

Monday – Friday: 8.30 am – 5.00 pm.
Saturday: 8.30 am – 12.00 pm.
Sundays and Public Holidays: Closed.

 

We are available after hours via phone on 07 5430 0000 should you have any questions that can’t wait.

On arrival, if the reception window is shut, please follow the instructions on the wall and dial 5430 0000 and the onsite managers will answer. If we are on-site, we will come down and check you in. If we happen to be off-site at that particular time, we will direct you to the key safe outside of the reception doors where your room key and guest information sheet will be. The following morning please register at reception and pay any balance owing on your stay.
Yes. We will happily and securely store your luggage in reception until required. There is no need to arrange this prior.
Yes. Each apartment has a designated, secured basement car space.
Each holiday apartment is guaranteed one car space in the basement. However, some apartments will have access to two car spaces. If this is a concern, please call ahead of your arrival or ask us at time of booking.
The maximum height is 2.1 metres. All vehicles above this height will be able to park out on the street.
There are designated two-hour visitor parking bays in the car park on ground level. If you have visitors arriving, please direct them to this car park.
Yes. Space Holiday Apartments has two lifts within the building providing access from all levels.

Yes. The following equipment is available for hire from Space Holiday Apartments for a small charge:

  • Cots
  • Folding beds
  • Highchairs
  • Body boards
  • Beach towels

We also have a free book exchange service. Guests are welcome to read any of the books on our bookshelf in reception and return at the end of their stay for the next person to enjoy.

POOL/SPA – Our pool and spa are located on Level 1. The spa is heated to 37 degrees and the pool temperature is moderated by the spa overflow to make sure guests can enjoy a dip and a swim all year-round. Guests are welcome to use these from 6am – 9pm daily.

 

BBQ - We have a large, free to use BBQ facility set-up on Level 1 by the pool and gym area. Guests are welcome to use these from 6am – 9pm daily.

 

GYM – Also located on Level 1 by the pool and BBQ is our free to use gym. Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times if they wish to use the equipment. Guests are welcome to use these from 6am – 9pm daily.
Yes, we provide free Wi-Fi throughout the building.
Yes. Coles and Woolworths online are both happy to deliver to Space Holiday Apartments. If you would like to arrange for grocery delivery prior to your arrival, please contact us to check storage availability for your cold items. If you are looking to have your groceries delivered during your stay, please confirm with reception the best delivery address.
Yes. If you require mail to be delivered to you during your stay, please contact reception for a postal address. The nearest post offices are located on King Street, Cotton Tree and Duporth Avenue, Maroochydore.
